TEXAS GOVERNOR, GREG ABBOTT HAS JUST SIGNED A BILL AUTHORIZING THE TEXAS FISH AND GAME COMMISSION TO PURCHASE SOME 1,000,000 ALLIGATORS FROM NEIGHBORING LOUISIANA AND RELEASE THEM AT DESIGNATED POINTS ALONG THE RIO GRANDE RIVER IN SOUTH TEXAS. THE WHOPPING COST OF THIS ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY MOVE IS ESTIMATED TO BE IN EXCESS OF $500,000,000. WHEN ASKED ABOUT THE COST GOVERNOR ABBOTT SIMPLY REPLIED, "IT'S CHEAPER TO FEED GATORS MEXICANS THAN TO FEED MEXICANS TACOS WITH STATE FOOD STAMPS"!
